Destrehan Plantation Fall Festival Returns in 2017

The Destrehan Plantation Fall Arts and Crafts Festival will make its return, November 11th - 12th, 2017.  After its cancellation last year, the Fall Festival is back by popular demand.

According to Destrehan Plantation staff, the cancellation was necessary to accommodate the large expansions and upgrades occurring on the plantation’s grounds. A new Welcome Center and Administration Center have already been added to Destrehan as part of the expansion plans. Work is set to finish on a new Bed and Breakfast cottage by the end of the year with more to come in the near future.

The Destrehan Plantation Fall Festival is the major fundraiser for the non-profit River Road Historical Society, which operates Destrehan Plantation. Festival goers can experience first- hand the growth of this premier attraction through the once-a-year event.
