Louisiana Soundstage is a newly constructed facility incorporated into the St. John Center on Highway 51 in LaPlace, Louisiana - 30 miles from downtown New Orleans. After consulting with leading film industry experts and reviewing the design, St. John Parish created a world class soundstage venue to support the needs of studios and film production companies.
- 42,000 square feet under roof with 26,000 meeting the highest level of soundstage decibel requirements (25DB).
- The soundstage area is dividable into 18,000 and 8,000 sq. ft. sections.
- Over 30 ft. (28-45 ft.) ceiling height in a majority of the facility
- 9,000 sq. ft. of office, storage and multi-use space
- Catering, locker and green room facilities.
- HVAC throughout the facility has been dampened to meet the recommendations suggested by sound engineers.
- Wireless internet throughout the facility and parking areas.
- Ample parking for all vehicle types - passenger cars to tractor-trailers.
