St. Joseph Plantation is proud to present its Annual “Mourning Tour.” Tour times: 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm, and 3:00 pm.
The plantation home is dressed in full “deep mourning”. Incorporated into the regular house tour, St. Joseph Plantation family members and friends explain these old customs and rituals, which are all so very important in understanding the rich history and culture of Old Creole Louisiana.
